Dear Charlotte,
I'm sorry to hear the sad news. I know it's no use at all to say anything. However, I just want to let you know: if you need any help, don't hesitate tospeak it out. To tell the truth, I have the same feeling as you. My oldest brotheris about to die due to the terrible liver cancer. The doctor just announced thathe has only two more months to live. Everytime when I see him, I can't help toburst into tears, but there's nothing I can do. What I can do now is to pray fora mirale. Sometimes I only hope that he can die in a peaceful way--no hurt. Therefore,I keep thinking recently what the price of life is. If we will die at last, then whatis the main goal for us to live. Finally, I find out keeping the quality of life isthe most important thing. When we live in the world, our life will be worthwhile ifwe can pass our love down to our family, kids, even to our friends. Don't forget youstill have a lovely daughter, who is the most wonderful treasure from both of you andyour husband. Don't forget you still have lots of old classmates who can give youany support if you speak it out. Be brave, Charlotte. Don't give up anything.Try to live longer for your daugter and make her life better than anybody else.Try to keep her quality of life in the best condition. Then I believe your husbandwill smile at you in the heaven as well.Be brave, my friend. I will pray for you and your daughter.
Love,
Lily Kuo
